Hi Skippers
Today was round 2 of our Handicap Championships – round one got cancelled due to rain last month.
The morning started with a decent SW breeze which quickly shifted to SE before we kicked off . Unfortunately after our midway break the clouds rolled in, the wind became patchy & a very light shower changed things. We only managed to get in 9 races due to lack of constant breeze. 8 boats on the water – all with A+ rigs.

The Sailscores program does not record handicaps – I’ll document them separately & send them out.
Highlight of the Day : happy for this prized accolade to go to Kim Mitchell. His day didn’t start well when he left his sails at home – a quick trip back to Twin Waters got him on the water. 2 x 1sts, 2 x 2nds & a 3rd gave him first overall, one point ahead of Geoff Morris in second.
Thanks to Tony Silver for scoring todays racing.
Next Session : Saturday 7th is the next round of our DF65 Scratch Championships. Lets not talk about the forecast !
Have a great week
Cheers
