Hi Skippers
No wind when we got to the Lake… then a whiff from the NW which promptly died . Luckily the wind gods eventually look after us with a reasonable ENE / NE breeze allowing us to get in 10 handicap races. 7 DF65’s turned up but only 5 raced…. as usual very competitive at the top end .

Highlight of the Day : For me was the lack ( almost ) of bingles during the morning – great sailing guys ! For Doug #64 it would be his consistently good performance giving him the overall win , closely followed by Michael #45 & Kim #42. Interesting that all skippers won at least one race. Skippers were updated with their scores as races were sailed. Great to watch.
Next session : Saturday 11th April Next round of our DF65 Revolution Cup
Please mark your calendars for Saturday, 23rd May, as we’ll be hosting a one-day DF65 regatta on Lake Kawana. This event isn’t limited to just our top skippers; it’s designed to offer a fantastic experience for everyone in our fleet. We encourage all members to participate, regardless of skill level. Further details will be provided soon, so stay tuned for more information.
Cheers
