Hi Skippers
14 DF65’s hit the water this morning – the forecast 12 knot breeze didn’t eventuate but we still had comfortable A+ rig conditions.
Luckily the forecast showers stayed away giving us a good mornings racing.

Highlight of the Day : I rarely highlight the day’s winner but todays the exception – Nick Taylor #917 achieved 3 x 1st places, 4 x 2nd places giving him the overall win by 3 points. Well done Nick ! He was closely followed by Kim Mitchell #42 with 3 x 1st places & 2 x 2nd places. Good to watch these top guys battle it out.
Next Session : Saturday 28th Feb – more Scratch racing.
Thanks again to Brian Wiley or taking control of the BuoyBots – unfortunately he is off caravanning for 10 days or so – we will miss you #408 !!
The combined DF65 / DF95 National Championships are held on 21st to 28th March at Grahamstown Dam , NSW. There are a number of club members going down for the event including myself for the DF65 section. This means I will be away for Saturday 21st & Tuesday 24th & not be here to run our usual racing program. Unless we get a volunteer to pick up the trailer, set up the Buoybots & run the morning I will have to cancel scheduled racing on those two days. Normal service will resume on Saturday 28th March.
Have a great week.
Cheers
Mark
