DF65 Scratch Racing – Tuesday 28th April.

Hi Skippers
Despite the forecast decided to race this morning – 8 DF65 skippers turned up. Just before our start time the heavens open up & it rained for 20+ minutes & the gentle SW breeze died. Banjos started to look like a good option however the rain cleared, the breeze went SE & increased to 6 to 8 knots with occasional gusts pushing the A+ rigs we all had on. We got through 10 scratch races
Results :

Highlight of the day goes to the 3 podium dwellers with a mere two points separating them – Craig Wiley #370 taking out the day with 15 points, Kim Mitchell #42 & Michael Hickman #45 both on 17 points – Kim taking 2nd overall on Countback. Well sailed guys.

Thanks to Craig for moving the Buoybots as the wind direction changed & putting the scores on Sailscores … much appreciated.

Next session : Saturday 2nd May – Next round of our DF65 Club Scratch Championship

Have a great week.
Cheers
