Hi Skippers,
We were greeted with 15 -18 knots gusts as we arrived at sailing so most skippers were wondering if it was B rig or A if the wind moderates.
At 12.45 the breeze settled in around 10-12 knots which made for a great afternoon of sailing . We had 5 skippers but Gary McMahon #57 forgot his batteries so we were down to 4 starters and he elected to score the afternoon.
We ended up doing scratch racing as we couldn’t adjust H’caps with only 4 sailing. Derick suffered an issue with his mainsheet post and had to retire after the 6th heat. Sorry for that !!!
It was a fun afternoon with close racing and social chit chat.
