Subject: Saturday IOM Club Champs #3 Scratch racing results
Hi Skippers "Happy Easter ",
We had 8 skippers for our third round of our Club Champs scratch races. The wind was gusting to 22 knots and then drop back to 10-12 knots so it was a tricky afternoon picking the lifts and knocks with each gust.
All were on B Rigs except from Gary McMahon #57 who sailed all afternoon with an A rig. It took to heat 10 for him to get the chockies!!
Welcome back to Derick Warne #97 returning from the DF95 Nationals. Well done Derick on your sailing finishing in Silver fleet.
Today was a very tight afternoon of sailing with many extremely close finishes.
Being consistent was key and Jason McAulay #161 and Bill Heritage #59 were hot on my tail all afternoon.
