Hi Skippers,
Gosh the breeze was up for the day but that gave the 7 skippers heaps of challenging sailing for the afternoon. Solid “B” rig conditions with 20 -25 knots of wind from the SE.
We had 8 skippers sailing if you count Nick Taylor sailing his DF95 with a D rig.
3 scratch races were run followed by 3 H’cap. All skippers had there moment mastering the conditions but the tables turned in other races as others found the lifts and knocks in the correct order.
Rob Priest #17 broke a side stay and continued sailing with no stays and his yacht was really competitive all afternoon. Who needs shrouds anyway.??
After the half time break Nick Taylor scored and ran the start box for the remaining 4 heats. Thanks Nick for your help and support.

Thanks to Tony for taking the trailer and providing the yummy treats during the break.
It was a fun afternoon for all. Very close racing and great speeds on the downwind legs. Tony Silver finished the day with a dry yacht and David C-Dobing sailed the whole afternoon with no equipment failure. Great to see. Hopefully a dry boat as well.
