Hi Skippers,
Bucket of breeze greeted the 6 sailors for the afternoon of IOM sailing.
We had 20 – 22knot gusts from the SE giving the fleet plenty of speed and close sailing. The B rigs were powered up and keeping control on the downwind legs was key.
Being H’cap sailing the fleet was always kept close together. On the last race of the day 5 seconds separated 4 skippers.
The encouragement award for the afternoon goes to Geoff Morris #96
We struggled with his B rig on his K2 yacht all afternoon. First it was sheet position. Then it was water in the boat and a new rudder servo. The final straw was a broken sheet line during heat 8. Geoff persisted all afternoon but still ended up scoring the last 2 heats. Tough day out!!

I used the trailer to shield the wind from the seated competitors and it worked a treat.
