Hi Skippers,
We managed to dodge the rain for the afternoon but 1/2 an hour before the scheduled start we were all sitting in our cars in the rain. Gosh we were lucky!!
The wind was gusting to 20 knots and then drop to 8 knots and swing from South to SE and even S West. This kept us all on our toes!!
The 9 skippers sailing for the afternoon enjoyed top of A rig or B rig conditions.
David C-Dobing sailed with a A Rig and managed to end the day with a dry boat and being able to handle the conditions. Well done! The other 8 sailors all had B rigs.
Taking out the afternoon was Garry McMahon #57 with 2 race wins and plenty of podium finishes. Very consistent !!
David C-Dobing #12 with his A rig had a great afternoon and finished in 2nd place. #rd was John Halloran on a tiebreak with Bill Heritage # 59 both on 32 points.
