Wednesday Handicap Racing

From Bob and Mick – Bob is now a SailScores Ace – well done Bob! Someone just needs to help him learn to send these emails out now! (Looking at you Mr Commodore…..)

Hi fellow Sailors,

As expected, we only managed to have 7 Lasers on the Lake today. The sailing conditions were perfect, 10 to 12 klm easterly breeze with the occasional 15 klm gust. A rig was the choice for today with the odd boat taking a dive in the downwind gusts.

Today’s podium places: 1st Peter O’Grady 19 pts, 2nd Bob Caldow 20 pts, 3rd Richard Brady 21pts. Take note of how close the final points were between competitors. We only completed 9 races when a council truck arrived to remove our dead tree (1 to go ).

Thanks, Tony, for the trailer, Peter Underhill for setting a nice course with the Buoy Bots and Craig Wiley for checking my results and posting out with this report. (Hopefully i will be doing it all soon). Thanks again for your attendance, it was certainly a fun, competitive and enjoyable morning. Look forward to seeing you all again Sunday (Weather permitting)

Regards Bob and Mick (away) ( Laser Co – ordinators )
