AUSTRALIA DAY REGATTA 2022
Our Australia Day Regatta was held on Wednesday 26th January 2022 at Lake Kawana on the Sunshine Coast QLD. The day started hot & steamy with little wind. Then came some rain which eased so we could continue racing.
The Laser fleet ( 10 boats ) managed 9 races – final placings being :
- Roger Frith #298 17 points
- Ross Mackay #193 19 points
- Neil Carroll #242 23 points
The IOM fleet ( 11 boats ) only completed 6 races – final placings being :
- David Clifton-Dobing #12 13 points
- Derick Warne #97 17 points
- John MCaulay #194 18 points
Unfortunately racing was finished early due to more rain coming in.
