The Kawana Classic ended our 2022 sailing season and what a great day it was! 13 IOM’s took to the water in blustery conditions.
A strong southerly meant B rigs were used throughout and only one short rain shower which didn’t dampened enthusiasm one little bit. The Admiral kindly RO’d for us and being an umpired event arguments over rule infringements were mostly eliminated.
Gary McCarthy #18 easily took the day with 37 points, followed by Doug Allen #72 with 42 points and Andrew Wilson #177 with 56 points – well done fellas, greats sailing!
