Hi Skippers
A beautiful sunny day, blue skies & the lake looking very picturesque – light breeze ranging from 0 knots to 3 knots and fluctuating from Westerly to SW to SE to NE … 12 boats on the water – only got in 9 races but reasonably enjoyable !

Highlight of the Day : was consistency ! Well done to Tug Boat Phil #239 for winning the morning with 3 race wins & 7 races out of 9 in the top 3. Then Michael #45 3 points behind & Kim #42 with no wins but only one bad race coming 3rd.
We welcomed back Dave Woodmore #38 who had a day off to come sailing – work is overrated & gets in the way of hobbies !
Next Session : Saturday 8th August : DF65 Revolution Cup – 5 scratch/5 Handicap races. Check to see where you stand in this Series : https://www.sailscores.com/SCRSC/2026/2026-df65-revolution-cup-hybrid.
DF65 Qld State Championships : being hosted by Paradise RYC at Emerald Lakes this coming weekend 8th/9th August. Happy to give you all average points for our Saturday racing provided you come in the top 10 !!

Cheers
