I’m back from a week at Straddie with the family enjoying the simple life at the beach in a 2 bedroom beach holiday cabin . A great week . Thanks to those who helped run the IOM pgm while I was enjoying Surfing, Golf, Swimming, Bowls and Bingo.
We had 8 skippers enjoying a very close afternoon of sailing with light 5 knot East / NE winds. All 6 buoybots were in use thanks to Dan and they all behaved.
It was very close all afternoon with Jason McAulay and John McAulay back sailing after a long break. Geoff Morris #96 had a chockies – boilded lollies day with race wins and DNF’s. The horse pills he is taking for an ear infection are taking their toll. In the end it was 1 point between the top 3 place.Congrats to the place getters;
