Hi Skippers,
The rain had passed and we were lucky to have a dry afternoon with 5 – 10 knot Easterly / SE winds. The breeze was tricky to read as is was moving around 20 degrees all afternoon. I was adjusting the start line with the buoybots and then the wind would swing back. Frustrating for the 11 skippers sailing.
Tony Silver had rudder issues and ended up scoring and Rob priest had battery issues and he helped scoring the last 2 races.
Bill Heritage seemed to have mastered the tricky conditions and clearly won the day on 25 points . Well sailed !! Hot on his tail was Gary McMahon with 34 points and Derick Warne had a ripper afternoon on the lake finishing in 3rd on a tiebreak with Gary.
Super close sailing all afternoon.
Congrats to the place getters:
1st Bill Heritage 25 points
2nd Gary McMahon 34 points
3rd Derick Warne 34 points ( on countback)

Thanks to all for helping in backing up the buoybots and gear after sailing.
It was a very close and tight afternoon of sailing.
See you all on Saturday for Meter Cup H’cap and scratch racing.
Happy sailing,
Simon Kellett
