Hi Skippers,
14 skippers enjoyed the afternoon with B rigs and 12-22 knots of SE wind.
Picking the correct side of the course was tricky and massive gains were made if you got it right.
Phil Gray #147 was off scratch for the H’cap races and was going to be hard to beat. All skippers enjoyed the close racing and for most races it was very clean sailing. Well done to all!
The rain looked threatening after 5 heats so a break was called and we sat in our cars waiting for the showers to clear. After the rain break we managed another 3 heats to give us 9 heats for the day.

2nd Garry McMahon #57 on 20 points
3rd Simon Kellett #141 on 20 points ( on countback)

Garry McMahon finished like a train taking two of the last 3 race wins and finished second in the other. That got him into 2nd place.
The std floating buoys were used and the course was long and suited to the conditions.
Thanks to those helping pack up the dinghy , outboard and flag.
